Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

Despite the traditional sites that have been preserved and the respect we finally show to the original inhabitants of Australia the loss they have experienced is still vast.

Many 'New" Australians still regard aborigines as second class citizens to the shame of the whole nation.

Sometimes we can't change things..but an acknowledgement and a sign shows a degree of empathy and wisdom..i love the colours on the sign too..they feel hopeful
